Joey had this to say: "When writing songs for a seasonal album, I wanted to include some of the aspects of celebrations and traditions observed in Tucson around early November. This song is about holding time and space for memories."

We had a blast making ?Season Shift,? sending tracks back-and-forth with friends and band members stretching from The States to Europe, Mexico and Africa. It truly is a celebration of diversity and coming together, something that?s been constant with Calexico.
